Everything you need for a safe, enjoyable evening at Marling School Playing Field — from ticket prices and timings to essential safety guidance.
Advance prices incur a small booking fee and are available until 12 noon, Friday 23 October 2026, after which prices rise to the full gate price. E-tickets must be printed or shown on your phone at the gate.

Weather Protection
Prepare for cold and wet October conditions. Bring a warm coat, and possibly a warm hat, gloves, scarf and waterproofs. The show goes on regardless of the weather.
Footwear Advisory
The ground may be wet and muddy. Wear sturdy, non-slip footwear that will prevent you from slipping on the grass.
Cash Notice
The funfair and all food & drink stalls operate on a cash-only basis. Card payments are accepted at the main entrance gate only.
Car-Free Event & Disabled Access
There is NO car parking at the venue — drivers will be directed to nearby public car parks. Two disabled blue-badge spaces are available by the main entrance on a first-come, first-served basis; a ticket is required and sales open 1 September at 5:00 PM.
Sparklers & Fireworks
Sparklers, fireworks and laser lights are strictly prohibited within Marling School Playing Field. Anyone carrying these will be denied entry; anyone using them inside will be evicted immediately with no refund.
Alcohol & Drugs
Alcohol and drugs are not permitted within the playing field. Entry will be refused to anyone drunk or suspected of being under the influence. Anyone consuming these on site will be evicted with no refund.
First Aid & Emergencies
The First Aid station is in the top field, just after the gates by the event control barrier. In an emergency dial 999 and give your location as: Five Valleys Fireworks Display, Marling School Playing Fields, Cainscross Road, Stroud. Inform a marshal, steward or security guard.
Lost Children
The lost children point is located at the St John’s First Aid station in the top field, adjacent to the barrier of the event control.
Pushchairs
Avoid using a pushchair that will be hard to manoeuvre on wet, potentially muddy grass. Thin-wheeled pushchairs are particularly difficult on soft ground.
Attendance at Your Own Risk
Whilst we take all reasonable precautions for your safety, attendance at the Five Valleys Fireworks is entirely at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which may arise, save for death or personal injury arising from our negligence. Firework events can be dangerous — please take care.
Emergency: In an emergency dial 999 and give your location as Five Valleys Fireworks Display, Marling School Playing Fields, Cainscross Road, Stroud. Inform an event marshal, steward or security guard who will get assistance from the on-site first aid team.
